Unique Wedding Photos - (PHOTOGRAPHERS WANT TO SHOOT)
I have traveled the world and photographed weddings in languages I cannot even pretend to understand. (Seriously… Photographed a russian wedding and I had to ask a child where the Bride was and came to find out the groomsmen had kidnapped her to a bar. Not Lying.) I have had so many amazing experiences and beautiful photos captured, but as any artist will tell you - I a always on the hunt for something bigger and better or even the greener grass on the other side.
A White Wedding
I have adorned a winter coat to a few weddings, but never had the adventurous enough couple who is ready to elope on a ski slope or in a white abis of snow. The stark white snow behind the couple makes for such a pure shot!
Let it POUR!
This happens oh too often in South Florida, and although it is unavoidable for some reason I cannot get a cool rain photo! I am about 99.9% positive it is because I always have multiple umbrellas handy… scares the rain clouds away I know it!
Set the place on Fire
Ok not literally… obviously (I mean can we? cause maybe for real..). But I am even contemplating figuring out how to make this happen for my own wedding cause I love it so much! Pick the colors of your wedding, or your favorite team, or a contrast to your attire, you pick - just pick smoke bombs!
Any form of Trash the Dress
Trust me, I have seen the prices of a wedding dress and know its kinda a little outrageous how expensive this one piece of clothing you will wear one time in your life cost. BUT if you are a budget bride, don’t have a sentimental hold on the dress, and have a wild side - we can go on a crazy adventure and trash the dress (and the suit or outfit your husband decides to wear) in whatever manner you choose. Jump into the ocean, start a paint war, attend the Indian New Year festival, seriously you name it!
Run away to the Mountains
I think it might be the “grass is always greener” in my ear but when all of my Miami weddings have palm trees and the ocean in them, I start to crave the mountain air! I have no problem strapping on my hiking boots and climbing to the peak of the highest point for a photo in the mountains.
