Tree Tops Park Engagement

You would never believe these two are anything but soulmates from the minute you meet them. Mel steps into Treetops Park in Davie with the most stunning dress that perfectly tells you her personality without her saying a thing, and Andy strolls over with a grin and flowers on his shoes that just scream “LETS DO THIS!”

Like most couples having their photos taken for the first time, they didnt exactly know what to do in front of a camera so I asked them to just tell me a story and it took no time at all for them to giggle, make funny faces and be themselves.

Mel told me how they met: “We actually met a few years ago, we have friends in common and we would go to the same parties but we would always just miss each other and never really got to talking. Last year, we finally had a small conversation at a Friendsgiving and although he said he was super against "sliding into someone's DM" he decided to re-activate his Instagram and DM me to see if i was interested in going on a date with him. We hit it off right away from there, it felt like I had already known him for years!”

After a stroll through the park, we popped out the champagne and the picnic basket. They told me about their favorite date is a peaceful day at the park with cheese, a question book, and a game of Rummikub. Of course, I had to ask… How did he propose!

“Andy wanted to do something big for his birthday since he was turning 30 and we decided on a trip to Vegas! He later told me knew that he wanted to propose there so he told a few friends … and what was supposed to be a small group of friends turned out to 20 of our friends and family! We rented a van and drove late at night to the Grand Canyon so we could see the sunrise over the canyon and it was FREEEEZZING! He said he wanted to have our song playing in the background (ain't no mountain high enough) but he got nervous and just got down on one knee and asked me if I wanted to be his karaoke partner for life! I  loved it! Then I looked up and all of our friends and family were holding up a sign that said "Will You Marry Me?"“

I can’t wait to see these two lovebirds surround themselves again with all of their loved ones, but this time in a bit of a different dress and shoes! Congrats Andy & Mel!
