What I am going to Pack for our Euro Trip - No. 6 BFF's EuroTrip
Now to easily the hardest part about traveling: Packing. I am a notorious over-packer (like many women I hear), so my worst nightmare is trying to pack too light and forgetting something important or essential. Then again I am not really traveling to a deserted island, so why stress about forgetting sunscreen when every supermarket has a bottle? Without my packing list though, I am pretty sure I would go crazy. No matter if I think I have it all, I must check and check again.
We are already knee deep into planning! See what we have got so far:
- Choosing your destinations - Check it out here!
- Spreadsheets galore - Check it out here!
- Planning with a Friend - Check it out here!
- Determining your budget - Here it is!
- Buying Airplane Tickets - Read More Here!
- What to Pack - Scroll Down Silly!
- Trains, Planes, and Automobiles (April 9th)
- Where to stay? Read Here!
- One month to go! (April 21st)
- Itinerary or wing it? (April 24th)
Before the list though, comes deciding what is needed. Every trip is different, and of course depending on number of nights, weather, destinations, activities planned, etc. As I search Pinterest (my fav!) for suggestions and tips on packing like a pro, I come across quite a few different options.
LOTS! Looking to enjoy a long trip and don’t mind bringing two suitcases? Check out Arianne Brady’s extensive list of what to bring. This is a great place to start if you want to lay everything out and then figure out what you can leave behind, or definitely need to pack.
Medium. Cant bring multiple suitcases? How bout one bag? Bay Park Dream packed for a month in one bag and illustrates it for us with handy photos! Check out her list and see if it will work for you.
Only a Lil. I on the other hand will be following a slightly modified version of The Budget Minded Traveler who has a few more article of clothes than I and I have a few more electronics. I made a handy checklist for myself but you can use it to!
Now to get it to all fit in!
Did you do something on your last trip that worked well? Any tips for us?
