I missed Boss Day! Thanks to those have made me who I am today.

It came to me recently what I am supposed to do with life. It hit me square in the gut and I quite literally sat still for a few minutes letting it soak in. I was testing out a possible new position with a great design agency and I was working with programs I knew well, on projects that were not nessasarily easy, sitting at a desk from 9 to 5, when it hit. I am not ment to be here. Not just in that particular office, but behind any desk, working the "normal" hours, and staring at a screen every endless day.

My previous bosses are to blame I think. Each and every one of my previous positions made me a little spoiled and used to the "abnormal". My first ever job was as a tour guide and store clerk at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum in Miami Florida, and my last was a Assistant Manager at Ringling College of Art and Design madeby Gallery in Sarasota, Florida. All of my jobs have had me on my feet, speaking with customers or clients, working on a million different projects at once, and always doing something new and fun. I woke up excited each morning to go to work, came home with stories galore, and each position showed me my potential, pushed my creativity, and made be a greater person.

I have not had an opportunity to thank each and every boss who has shaped who I am today, and whom without I would not be where I am. I will always be a photographer and a crafty-creator, and I have come to appreciate and love those who have taken me under their wing, for they have shown me just that.

Don't loose yourself in the "normal". Don't settle for something that makes you hate getting up in the morning, and get home grumpy in the evening. Everyone has something that they are destined to do, and are ment to be. Don't grow old being "normal". I learned organization and leadership from the GCRRM, as well as the fun of trains, How to be a real photographer from Macbeth Photography in Orlando and Alex Stafford Photography in Sarasota, and managment and marketing from madeby Gallery in Sarasota. Each job made me realize my potential, helped me find a new set of skills, and become a greater me.

Thank you to you all!
